 Assessment

After arrival in Ottawa, all international students are assessed for Math and English language ability.

The International Student Program office will schedule the assessment date  prior to his or her arrival in Canada. Students are asked to provide their arrival information and re-confirm the assessment date upon arrival in Ottawa.

 Orientation

All new international students are required to attend an orientation presented by the Ottawa International Student Program.
The orientation will be done during the assessment for high school students.  

 School Registration

School Registration at the assigned school will take place after the assessment and after immunization is complete. The International Student Program office will make the school appointment on the assessement day.
